Intro to Picasso

This is a cool little site that would be good for kids in a grade school art class to get a quick introduction to Picasso. Just a little activity that could be used to break the ice. Here is Mr. Picassohead.

Something to be aware of.

This really doesn’t have any thing to do with education or technology, it’s just a thought of the moment. A public service announcement of sorts. My Stepfather has stage three throat-cancer and is going through treatment for it. The treatments are hard on him and often leave him physically exhausted for days after. Now he is restricted to a liquid diet. I remember him going for almost a year prior to his diagnosis with a persistent cough and sour throat.

Though it is unpleasant, treatment is usually successful if the cancer is caught early. Take a look at this site and just read it. Hopefully what you learn will never come in handy. However, if it does may be you will be able to catch it early enough to save your life.
